During May 2008, BaggagePIN Ltd Partnered with Aviance-UK Ltd.
During April and May 2008 Aviance UK and Baggage PIN will be working together in order to deploy the Baggage PIN service across 16  Airports that are located around the United Kingdom, Ireland and Jersey.
Aviance-UK Ltd provides on a global basis a wide range of services to the airline industry including passenger, ramp service and load control services.
From the end of May it will be possible for their customers to purchase Baggage PIN tags and membership’s in the form of Retail Packs from many of their UK Airports. Passengers can activate their Baggage PIN account’s by using the text  service on their mobile.
Once a Baggage PIN account is activated, the passenger will be safe in the comfort that should their baggage become separated from them whilst they are travelling, they can be easily contacted to arrange the return of their precious possessions.
Baggage PIN is the only baggage owner contact service that enables those who are directly responsible for handling baggage to contact owners by mobile phone in order to arrange the return of passenger’s mislaid baggage no matter where they or it may be in the world.

What is the Know Before You Go Campaign?
‘Know Before You Go’ (KBYG) is an ongoing campaign with around 250 travel industry partners to help Brits to stay safe and healthy abroad.
The campaign was launched in 2001 to promote these key messages:
- get adequate travel insurance
- check the FCO’s country travel advice
- research your destination – know the local laws and customs
- visit your GP at least six weeks before travelling
- check your passport is in good condition and valid and you have all necessary visas
- make copies of important travel documents and/or store them online using a secure data storage site
- tell someone where you are going and leave emergency contact details with them
- take enough money and have access to emergency funds
